After rearranging my meeting with Tesco, I will be going to the Tesco head offices to discuss the eggs currently sold in Tesco and the petition this Friday, 13th May! Also, tomorrow, I will be recording another interview with Radio 4's Winifred Robinson which will be broadcast on Wednesday's You and Yours programme (radio 4) . It's thanks to the incredible number of signatures and the amazing 750 letters sent to Tesco that we have reached a point of meeting. Without the support of so many people the campaign could never have reached this stage. Thank you all so much. Hopefully, the campaign and petition will continue with the momentum that it has been doing and Tesco will take notice of the views of over a quarter of a million people. Animal welfare is such an important issue, and the treatment of animals in the commercial world cannot and will not be ignored. An end to caged and barn farming is another step towards a more welfare conscious society. Tesco have the power to make this happen.
