Why are caged hen eggs still sold at major supermarkets? Just because consumers are given a choice to choose between caged/free range eggs - the hens aren't!  

While these cages may be better than the EU banned battery cages - a few more cm's in space does not ensure that they are better off. Hens need space to play, bathe, run and fly. After all - that's the least they could offer them. 

Please BAN selling eggs from caged hens and please consider this petition as a humble request to put an end to caging hens!
