Scientology, founded in the early 1950s by science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard, has been a subject of debate and controversy worldwide. Known for its secretive nature and alleged exploitative practices, it has been regarded by many as a cult rather than a bona fide religion. It has consistent legal issues, controversies about its treatment of followers, and secrecy about its teachings, leading to scrutiny from various governments. Reports suggest that one in four people who join such organizations display negative mental health effects attributable to their involvement. Our proposition is to close down all Scientology based entities, including their "churches" around the globe to protect people from potential harm. A comprehensive scrutiny of their operations and the impact on their believer’s mental and emotional health is needed.
