Terminate Teacher Jaden Salameh, at River City Science Academy, for Antisemitic Remarks
The Issue
I was deeply disturbed when I came across a TikTok video of Jaden Salameh, a teacher at River City Science Academy, making antisemitic remarks.
“There’s one group of people that own literally everything,” asserts Miss. Salameh as she begins her Tiktok video, which has now been viewed at least 210,000 times, as reported by Mazelit Airaksinen on her Substack.
Jews own “the banking system, the white house, the legislative, executive, judicial branch,” claims Miss Salameh.
“We send all of our money to this country” says Miss. Salameh, adding that Israel is a “fake country that shouldn’t even exist.”
Israel, the teacher explains, “was literally curated out of thin air.”
But Jews “own everything. They are the elitists. They’re intertwined and everything behind the scenes. They’re on Hollywood, on the media, they’re on the systems, they’re on the shows,” adds Miss. Salameh.

These statements are not only deeply offensive but also undermine the values of respect and equality that education stands for.
Antisemitism, as history as tragically shown, breeds division and hatred. In the United States, recent reports from the Anti-Defamation League indicate a 34% increase in antisemitic incidents in 2021 alone. These figures highlight a concerning trend that we simply cannot ignore, especially in places as influential as schools. Teachers directly impact young minds, and when they propagate hate, it not only affects the students but the future society as well.
While freedom of speech is a cherished value, it's vital to remember that educators have a responsibility to model appropriate behavior. Tolerating antisemitic remarks in a school setting sets a dangerous precedent that contradicts the educational mission of fostering an environment of understanding and respect.
We urge the school administration and the relevant educational authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into Jaden Salameh’s actions.
Schools are no place for hate.
A comprehensive investigation will not only address this specific incident but also serve as a reminder of the zero-tolerance policy towards hate speech in educational systems. Addressing this issue decisively will help prevent further instances of discrimination, and ensure that schools remain pillars of inclusivity and respect.
For the sake of our children and the values we cherish, we must demand accountability and a commitment to upholding a safe and respectful educational environment. Please join me in calling for a thorough investigation into this matter and sign this petition to demand action now.
