TERMINATE Dr. Mohammed Subeh: He CANNOT SAFELY Treat Jews and Zionists
The Issue
Dr. Mohammed Subeh is an emergency room doctor who works at El Camino Hospital-Mountainview and at the Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose California.
His LinkedIn also lists him as a Partner in Vituity, which is a California based staffing company. It is unclear if he works at the above hospitals through Vituity, or if by "Partner", it means that he is an investor or has a management role there.
After Subeh's statements about Zionists surfaced last week, the two hospitals he works at, along with Vituity, have not responded to requests for information, according to reporter Toni Airaksinen, who is the only reporter to have published a story about his statements.
He caught the attention of one of the American watchdog groups for antisemitism in healthcare, Physicians Against Antisemitism, after he endorsed a Tweet saying "Do not let Zionists into your spaces. Don't make Zionists feel comfortable."
With Zionism prevalent in the American Jewish community, Dr. Subeh's comments raise concerns for Jewish and Israel supporters who he might meet in his emergency room.
According to the PAA's interview with Airaksinen:
“Imagine if he takes this attitude with a patient wearing a Star of David comes in having a heart attack?” asked Physicians Against Antisemitism in their first post about him.
The PAA spokesperson condemned Dr. Subeh’s posts.
“The repost that encourages making Zionists feel uncomfortable and unwelcome is very concerning. Dr. Subeh hasn’t explicitly stated any exceptions, such as when dealing with patients, so we can only assume that this is his general outlook in every aspect of his life,” they alleged.
“As physicians, it’s our job to treat all our patients with the very best we have to offer, regardless of their race, religion, sex or other defining characteristics. No exceptions. To designate Zionists as excluded from standard human interaction is a dog whistle for Jews as well as our allies.”
"People could die."
His employers have not indicated they are investigating him. But we must call upon his workplaces to ensure that Jewish and Zionist patients get proper care. If he does not believe in making Zionists "feel comfortable" and "not letting them into [his] spaces"... how on earth can Jewish patients feel safe with him as a doctor?
Please help make change by contacting El Camino Health here, Good Samaritan Hospital here, and Vituity here to express your concerns about Dr. Mohammed Subeh. Please do not send him any hate mail or death threats; please direct your concerns to the appropriate medical channels listed above.
