My name is a resident in the county housing project and this is a petition inspired by my personal experience. I have encountered blatant discriminatory practices in the area where I live. This behaviour contradicts the principle of equal rights, granted to every citizen and is not acceptable in our diverse and modern society.

The discrimination within county housing projects is not unique to my experience. Reports have shown that many residents are subject to unfair treatment based on their ethnicity, gender, and socio-economic status (US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, Fair Housing Trends Report, 2018).

These practices undermine the basic human rights and dignity of the residents and create a hostile living environment. We strongly support fair, unbiased, and equal treatment for all residents in the housing project.

Therefore, we are calling on the local government to investigate these claims and take direct action to end discrimination in county housing projects. We demand the authorities implement strict rules and regulations regarding the conduct of staff and management of county housing projects, ensuring protection of residents from such biased practices.
