I have a personal stake in this issue that began when my friend almost became a victim of grooming on Roblox. Despite the severity of the situation, the company, under the leadership of David Baszucki, did absolutely nothing to address it. As CEO, he has the responsibility to create and enforce policies to protect all users, particularly children, from such predatory behavior. Unfortunately, it seems that his focus lies more on profit than on the community's safety.

Roblox is a platform trusted by millions of players, many of whom are children. This trust is built on the expectation that user safety is a top priority. However, under Baszucki's leadership, we've seen little action towards strengthening protective measures against predators. According to a report by Fast Company in 2022, there were significant instances of exploitation and harm on the platform, pointing to weak measures and insufficient actions when flagged. This negligence cannot be allowed to continue; instead, proactive actions must be put in place.

Leading a company such as Roblox requires dedication to creating a safe, engaging, and beneficial environment for all users. We need a leader who genuinely cares about and works towards the growth and protection of the Roblox community, not just its bottom line. It's time for a change in leadership that prioritizes ethical practices over profit.
