Osceola Action Committee demands that the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners immediately terminate the contract with Macy Island Consulting LLC for lobbying services. This follows the May 18, 2024 arrest of owner Mike Horner for felony aggravated assault on a public official. Mr. Horner's past involvement in a sex trafficking investigation and now this recent arrest demonstrate his questionable character.

Mr. Horner and Macy Island Consulting LLC. currently gets $5,000 a month funded by Osceola County's General Fund revenue (Property Tax).

 We believe our hard-earned tax dollars should not be funding this contract moving forward due to the actions of Mr. Horner.
