Wally may already be dead, but if he appears again alive, we ask for him to be rescued and fed and looked after until he is strong enough to get back out into the wild.

Gray whales are dying in their thousands due to global warming. Their food supply is low and their migration patterns are affected. Wally, a 15 month old gray whale from the Pacific ocean has been lost in the Mediteranean since March. There is little or no food for him there and he is starving and exhausted. He has won the hearts of many people and we cannot bear to see such a friendly, courageous and resliant creature die. 

Once again, if he's still alive, we are asking for him to be rescued. We are asking for him to be fed and cared for until he is strong enough to get back into the wild. Gray whales are gentle creatures, they play a vital role in keeping marine ecosystems healthy.
