My son, Jimmy, will soon be out of jail. The only form of treatment that he has gotten for his drug addiction while in jail was a class that was weekly for about an hour week. It lasted for about 6 weeks. I'm hoping and praying that he will wind up in a good place when he is released. In the past, he has been in so many inpatient treatment places, halfway houses and outpatient places. Many of them have been a joke. I do realize that it is ultimately up to Jimmy. I plan to continue to work for more treatment options for those who are incarcerated.
