Jimmy remains incarcerated. He was recently denied parole. They said that he is too high risk. He had a plan if he was granted parole. Since then he has changed his mind about the plan. Now he doesn't think that he will need treatment when he gets out. He says that he just wants to get on with his life. I'm so scared of what is going to happen when he gets out, probably around the end of the year. He needs treatment! All of the addicts who are incarcerated need treatment and other life skills to help them when they are released. Jimmy pled guilty to a crime he didn't commit because they told him that if he didn't, they could make it a lot harder on him. All of his charges over all these years have either been directly or indirectly related to drugs! Our system is so messed up!
