On June 5, 2015 Fred Auston Wortman was arrested by undercover TBI agents while trying to hire what he thought was a hitman to kill his estranged wife Staci. 

Wortman did this as his youngest child was celebrating her 6th birthday. 

He was held on a $15 million dollar bond. 

While he sat in jail awaiting trial he was also indicted on another count of attempted murder for poisoning Staci’s toothpaste a few months before his arrest.  And then a month later he was charged again with a 3rd attempt at her life.  This time by trying to hire a cell mate to arrange Staci’s murder. 

On November 11 and 12, 2015 Fred Auston Wortman, a former attorney and physical therapist, accepted a plea deal sentencing him for 30 years and to serve 30% for the attempted murders of his estranged wife and mother of his 3 young children. 

It has only been 4 years and an August 20th parole hearing has been rescheduled to September 19, 2019.

 This criminal, FRED AUSTON WORTMAN, wanted his own 3 young children to wake up and find their mothers dead body. Putting their own lives in danger by having a hitman break into their homes while they slept. There is no denying his attempt as we have evidence of his plan all on TBI undercover video. 

Allowing FRED AUSTON WORTMAN parole devalues the justice system and the life FRED AUSTON WORTMAN tried to take!
