Deny parole for Tina Wilson #00365633 less than 5yrs after she killed Clifton Braunwalder

The Issue

Less than five years after she struck and killed 13 year old Clifton Braunwalder and fled the scene, a parole hearing is scheduled for 11/16/2018  for Tina Wilson (#00365633) to determine suitability for an early release in January of 2019.

After fighting the charges for nearly two years, Wilson, who was impaired and under the influence of numerous controlled substances, agreed to a guilty plea to vehicular homicide by intoxication, reckless aggravated assault and leaving the scene of a fatal accident in April of 2014.

She was sentenced to 18 years for the first charge, 8 years for the second and 4 years for the third.

Combined sentences totaling 30 years are being served concurrently; however a ruling in her favor will mean that Wilson will be released after serving just 15% of her original sentences. This would be unfortunate on its own; but is especially tragic given the fact that she already had a criminal history - prior to this conviction - including reckless endangerment after nearly running over her 6 year old daughter with a truck in front of police officers present to investigate yet another complaint, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and other alcohol and drug related offenses.

With no family residing in the community she plans to return to, and a local network of convicted felons, illegal aliens, and less-than-contributing members of society, Wilson - who has no education and a history of job hopping from minimum wage job to minimum wage job - has minimal chance to achieve long-term success if she is released without any credible evidence of significant rehabilitation or a reliable support system in the community.

Please sign this petition, SHARE it with others, and communicate to the TN Board of Parole that this initial parole request must be DENIED if justice for Clifton Braunwalder, and other victims of careless and impaired drivers, is to be carried out!

Thank you for your support!
