During times of national crisis, congress attempts to  pass bills “under the radar” of American citizens that would otherwise be rejected. The President of the United States can order the suspension of nonessential labor including but not limited to the three federal branches of the federal government. 

We, the undersigned, are petitioning the President of the United States to suspend by executive order all congressional activity not related to the national crisis at hand. This includes but is not limited to the passage of bills by congress that include funding for things outside the scope of resolving the national crisis at hand.

Please distribute this petition widely to make such activity unlawful. This petition is directed toward the President of the United States whose authority it is to affect this change. Thank you.
