In a world of today’s wealth, no child should have to grow up in poverty and hunger – yet more than 1 billion people live in extreme poverty. 2015 can be the year we put the world on the path to end this injustice – but world leaders have to act.

In September, leaders will gather at the United Nations to decide on the next set of global goals to address issues from ending poverty and hunger to promoting health and education. This should be the moment the world commits to giving millions of people the chance to move out of poverty and live healthy, productive lives.
