We did it. We opened a safe space for homeless people in Oxford. We stopped the Co-op from eviction us. We got an agreement we can stay warm for the rest of the winter. We came together and we won. When we opened the door to the old VW garage on new years eve we thought it might be a bolt hole for a couple of weeks, but we didn't know how much support we'd have. Thanks to you, our welcoming neighborhood (and eventually the Co-op) we got a agreement that we can stay until April. In the last two weekends we have inducted 110 new volunteers who will support the space, built 7 new rooms, spring cleaned the whole building, set-up a washroom and made a home. Want to join the fun?
