Linda SummittPetition StarterI have been working to free Dusty for years. He is innocent of the charges against him and should not be incarcerated. The person who committed the crime confessed in 2002 and yet Dusty still sits in prison. At first the 21 day rule barred him then The Virginia Commonwealth’s attorneys always put a stop to his being released. The Courts have agreed that the other person, Billy Brown is credible and that Dusty should be released, then the Attorney General filed an Appeal against that decision and the upper courts agreed with his appeal. The courts consists of the Good Ole Boys, where there is a constant recirculation of the same political men, from attorneys and prosecuting attorneys who become Judges to Judges who become Attorney Generals and Attorney Generals to Governors and right back it has been a viscous political circle.
