The Vatican especially the Pope holds unanimous power over the Catholic Church. They can excommunicate members from the Catholic Church for violating the rules of the faith. The purpose of excommunication is to exclude from the church those members who have behaviors or teachings contrary to the beliefs of a Christian community (heresy). Heresy is defined as holding a belief or opinion contrary to orthodox religious (especially Christian) doctrine.
         In the case of President Joseph Biden, not only is he aiding and abetting the genocide in occupied Palestine specifically in Gaza. But he’s also a self proclaimed Zionist. This clearly qualifies him as someone whose behavior and beliefs are outside of the teachings of Christianity. Therefore the Vatican should by all accounts excommunicate him immediately.
    We, (all good people of all faiths and backgrounds) ask that The Pope and The Vatican act on this matter immediately and show the world that the Catholic faith does not stand with Zionists and their extremist ideology. The Catholic Church needs to send a clear signal to all of its followers that it does not stand with the genocide that is being perpetrated by Israel and the Biden administration against the Palestinian people.
