Only three coyotes still reside in Nahant and no incidents have been reported for weeks, yet the town administrator will not relent.

The killing could happen tonight or tomorrow night, depending on how conditioned the coyotes have become to orchestrated rabbit distress calls or other bait being offered as lures.

The trail camera was discovered yesterday near the compost berms off the Heritage Trail, where the killing may happen. The alternate site is the golf course at Kelly Greens, the owner of which likely gave permission for the Feds to use the property for this inhumane act.
