Recently, a successful motion has been made in the Kansas Legislature’s Corrections and Juvenile Justice Committee to keep the criminalization of gay and lesbian relationships on the books. The motion removed language that would bring Kansas into compliance with Supreme Court precedent from a proposed law, HB2321. This action sends the signal to LGBT people in Kansas that they are subhuman. Please tell the Kansas House to reject HB2321 until the eliminated language is added back.
