On February 24th, 2022, Russian troops swarmed into Ukraine. Instead of falling in hours, Ukraine stood against this massive attack. Today, almost 3 years later, Ukraine is still holding the line bravely against Russia. The Russians have committed atrocities across Ukraine and Ukraine needs our help. 

When Ukrainians counterattacked north of Kyiv, they advanced extremely fast. Nothing could prepare them though, for what the Russians left behind. In the small town of Bucha, they found murdered civilians everywhere. Their hands had been tied, and then they had been shot. Included among the dead were nine children. Russia has used these tactics everywhere they've occupied, and the United States has to show Russia massacring civilians is not okay.

Ukraine has done spectacular things. It has driven Russia away from Kyiv, taken back Kherson, and retaken a massive area around Kharkiv. However, they can't stand up to a country as big as Russia forever. They need our support. In the East of Ukraine, Russia is firing 5 times the amount of shells Ukraine is. Let's send them shells. 

A lot of people think that helping Ukraine hurts America. It does not. We have strengthened our military partnerships across the globe, and thousands of jobs have been created to help Ukraine. Not only does it help our economy, but it will stop Russia in it's tracks. If Ukraine is conquered, why would Russia stop there. What about other former Soviet areas? Like Lithuania or Poland? That would end with US soldiers fighting Russia. Sending aid to Ukraine is the safest way to oppose Russia effectively.

We need to tell the new government that we need to support Ukraine with weapons and aid. We need to protect the free world.
