Woohoo weekend Wetlanders, great news about the Yellow Sea wetlands being World Heritage listed.

What an embarrassing disgrace that the Redland City Council, Australian and Queensland Governments won't do anything to protect the RAMSAR wetlands the Far Eastern Curlew flies to in the Moreton Bay Marine Park from the Yellow Sea. 

What will happen when they fly here and find another feeding ground destroyed? 

Wouldn’t it be an amazing drawcard if Toondah was saved and Moreton Bay’s RAMSAR wetlands and the wildlife they support one day became World Heritage listed too!

Together we are acting to save this precious place and its shorebirds from extinction so they can still call Australia home.
