Good Morning from Maine!

Just a quick note to say Thank You - from the bottom of my heart - for your support .  Over 82,000 of you signed on to tell Senator Susan Collins we are depending on her to take a stand for our reproductive rights and reject the nomination of ultra-conservative, anti-abortion nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court. 

As an FYI, I'm planning to meet with senior Collins staffer Kate Simson on Monday at 3:00pm to deliver the petition in person.  We'll be at Senator Collins' Portland office (1 Canal Place, #802) if anyone local would like to join! If you aren't local there are two things you can still do to help.

Second, please plan to call Senator Collins' Portland Office on Monday, the 20th in support of our visit, to let her know how critical it is that she protect our access to safe and legal abortion.  Here is a script you can use:

"Hello, I'm calling to strongly urge Senator Collins to reject Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh was selected by Trump specifically because of his willingness to overturn Roe V Wade and end access to safe and legal abortion in our country, an act that could endanger the lives of millions of women for generations to come and set our civil liberties back by decades. I am counting on Senator Collins to stand with the 79% of Americans who support legal abortion by rejecting Kavanaugh's nomination."
