Good Morning and Happy Monday! Woody Allen once said that 80% of life is just showing up. I can’t think of any issue more worthy of showing up for than the protection of our right as Americans to access safe and legal abortion. And that means sending our representatives the unequivocal message that we will not tolerate the nomination of extreme right-winger Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. On August 26, 2018, Americans across the nation will be rallying to #StopKavanaugh. (Fun fact: August 26 is Women's Equality Day - the 98th anniversary of the day women were granted the right to vote!) Maybe you’ve been rallying for progressive causes for years and showing up is your “thing.” Maybe you’ve never attended a cause rally in your life. Do it for yourself, for the women in your life, for the 79% of Americans who identify themselves as pro-choice.
