Good Morning from Maine! I'm sitting in my sons' playroom, watching my 1 year old happily play with his blocks, oblivious to the chaos unfolding around him. I don't know about you, but after Trump's horrifying press conference yesterday, it's hard to know where to focus my thoughts. That said, our job is to keep our eye on the prize - protecting the right of all Americans to safe and legal abortion. Last week a resistance friend (Hi Natasha!) delivered a letter to Senator Susan Collins' office, signed by over 150 Mainers, and calling for Senator Collins to reject Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court. She and another signer met with senior staffer Kate Simson, who stated that citizens concerned with the Kavanaugh nomination should "flood" her with our thoughts. I say: She Asked....We Listen!
