Come on, Smash Mouth! Are you serious? You are the first performers at SeaWorld's annual Bands, Brew, and BBQ concert series?

In case you haven't been reading the news, here are some facts to consider:

-Orcas at SeaWorld basically live in a bathtub. There is very little room to swim or exhibit natural behaviors in these concrete tanks. They lash out at people and other animals in frustration, anger, and confusion.

-Animals die at SeaWorld all the time. For example, Stella, a 2 year old beluga died in November and Unna, a killer whale, died at SeaWorld in December.

-People are running scared from SeaWorld. Everyone from Willie Nelson to Heart cancelled shows at SeaWorld because of the abuse of animals for this amusement park. Companies like Southwest Airlines also ended their partnership because it's a failing business.

You might be getting a hefty paycheck for trying to help SeaWorld save this dying concert series, but please reconsider. It's not worth being branded as a supporter of extreme animal cruelty just to play one show.

I hope you'll reconsider. Cancel your SeaWorld show.
