We the under-signed are appalled by your council's cruel killing of our corellas. It is clear that council has not properly investigated proven effective non-lethal methods which are now available to deter corellas and has simply resorted to the shameful and cruel killing of these birds.

Eagle Eyes used under the direction and advice from experts in this field in conjunction with the planting of Decoy Crops has succeeded in deterring corellas from settling on sporting greens etc.

We urge you and your council to immediately stop the cruel and unnecessary slaughter of these intelligent and social birds who delight eco-tourists, bird-watchers and many others. These birds mate for life which makes this program even more unacceptable. They are not "pests" to be dispatched.

Time to stop killing our wildlife and use the effective, non-lethal methods that are available.
