From the New York Times, November 19, 2014:

Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Christian woman, was sentenced to death for blasphemy against Islam in 2010...Asia is currently in prison waiting to be hanged after losing an appeal on October 16.

All she did was drink a cup of water and was accused of defiling the water because of her faith. She denies blasphemy against Muhammed and only wants to be with her family and live in peace.
