It was recently announced that from the 20th September, the X1 bus service will be withdrawn and the X15 will terminate at Westgate.

Although there will continue to be a service from Lake Street, this is a long way to walk for people with heavy luggage and for elderly and disabled residents.

A regular bus connection to the railway station is essential to a joined up public transport system and giving people a meaningful alternative to using their cars.

We are calling on Oxford Bus Company and Oxfordshire County Council to urgently review this decision.
