"Garbage collectors in Turkey opened a library full of discarded books headed for a landfill" � This is both funny and sad at the same time. Libraries are discarding so many books that garbage collectors were able to open a library using just the books they found headed for a landfill. 
Let's bring awareness to this issue, starting with Montgomery County, and then on the national level so more people know that this is happening. If more people find out that libraries across the country are discarding dozens of books in good condition on a daily basis, the libraries will have to change their policies. Keep up the momentum!
