Tell Missouri no MORE ANIMAL CRUELTY

Tell Missouri no MORE ANIMAL CRUELTY

The Issue

I am the founder kf a 501c3 non-profit horse rescue and animal sanctuary. Here in Missouri we have a HUGE PROBLEM with severe abuse neglect starvation torture and abandonment of animals and absolutely NO HELP FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT OR THE LEGAL SYSTEM.  We have worked multiple cases where animals had been starved to the point the bones in their spines were fully visible, where a horse was DRAGGED DOWN THE ROAD via a pick-up truck CAUGHT ON CAMERA, dogs are STARVED TO DEATH. In EACH CASE law enforcement has photos, videos, reports, and has done NOTHING ABOUT IT. In my town, El Dorado Springs, a family I live next to has kept 2 dogs on chains 24/7 since I have been here, about 2 years. One dog is so skinny I can count each rib from my BACK PORCH. Law enforcement is well aware ans does nothing. Sadly, that dog died a few days ago.

Law enforcement and the District Attorney's in Missouri are REFUSING TO FOLLOW THE LAW. They claim it has to be PROVEN to be deliberate. Well, when you REFUSE to feed an animal day after day after day and it gets so skinny its almost 300 pounds UNDERWEIGHT(horses)or it DIES from starvation and illness as IS DELIBERATE. Please, HELP US HELP THESE ANIMALS. PLEASE  HELP US MAKE LAW ENFORCEMENT FOLLOW THE LAW. If we can't make this change, thousands more animals will die a horrible death in Missouri
