Let Maple Energy know that the world is watching.

Earlier this week, children bathing in the Mashiria River in the Peruvian Amazon realized there was oil in the water. Maple Energy, which was responsible for the spill, had not issued any statement. Even though the river is the native Shipibo community's main source of water and fish, Maple Energy failed to take any real action.

So far, Maple has only paid 32 community members to clean up the spill using buckets and rags without any training, protective equipment, or discussion on the health effects of oil.

Let Maple know that they need to clean up and pay up!
