In the two weeks since the Iranian people have been protesting the murder of Mahsa Amini in “morality” police custody, social media users have repeatedly warned that security forces have used ambulances to arrest and transport protestors.

 Several videos have been published that show ambulances standing in line in front of detention centers and police stations, or other facilities that are connected to the authorities in some way. There are also many videos that show arrested protestors being transported in ambulances.

  These vehicles should only be used for helping people in a medical emergency and nothing else. Using ambulances as a tool to secretly transport arrestees is inherently wrong; it also causes the driving civilians to lose trust in them and not open the way for ambulances that actually transport patients. I am asking you to take action and ask the Islamic Republic of Iran to immediately stop the use of ambulances for repressing the protests. Please be the voice of the people of Iran!
