Save the Settlers Park Trees in Hanover
Jun 27, 2016
We are well on our way to 350 signatures in just over 3 days! Tomorrow night (Tuesday) there is an important Park Board Meeting at 7pm at Hanover City Hall. We are hoping for a good turnout from supporters as we don't have a guarantee that the trees will still be standing by July 5th's City Council Meeting. There is talk of an alternative site for the ballfield that would actually be cheaper than the Oak grove area at Settlers Park. Attached is the recent park board survey results which highlights that over 70% of respondents believe that the current ballfields at Settlers Park meet community needs. Emails (cityhall@ci.hanover.mn.us) as well as calling our city representatives (763) 497-3777 is still very important along with signing the petition. Remember to sign & share! Thank you!
