The Family Puppy Chain (a.k.a The Family of Pets) has been selling puppy mill dogs for years in the Detroit area  (Brighton, Troy, Roseville and Novi). They have a history with Happy Tails Kennels and Kathy Bauck in MN who was convicted of torture; both kennels are considered "mega mills". They currently have relationships with Amish commercial breeders in Indiana which have shipped to Petland! Reputable breeders to not sell to pet stores like Petland or any other pet store.

We are asking the mall management to lease space to a local shelter or reputable rescue. A mall in Tucson Arizona allowed their local shelter to rent space for $400 and they were able to adopt out 150 animals in 8 weeks!

Flint should do the same and support their local shelters by helping homeless animals, not pump more sick dogs into the community.
