Hey all!  

Thank you so much for your support.  We posted a few signs with links to our petition around the area of town where the demolition is slated to happen and (big surprise!) someone didn't want it seen and tore most of them down!  Clearly, they don't realize how much poster board I have!  But, if they're trying to squash attention, that means they're scared of what that can mean for the demolition.

A funny story I found while I was researching the school - the new principal, a graduate of Yale, spent a total of one day teaching there in 1905 and was hit by so many spitballs that he immediately resigned from teaching and returned to New Haven at the end of the day.  Kids will be kids, even 130 years ago!

Not one reply from anyone on town counsel, not one reply from the mayor, not one reply from in the town offices other than "too late"...
