Today, TXT (Tomorrow by Together), a major kpop group became an official ambassador for Dior. Dior pays other companies and people to test their products on animals so they can sell these products in China. Even though China is relaxing there animal testing requirements, its still going on. This petition is to tell Dior to stop animal testing and become PETA certified.

Why is animal testing bad?

Animal testing is bad because it is cruel and unnecessary. Animals suffer immensely in laboratories, and the results of animal tests are often not accurate or relevant to humans. There are many other, more humane and effective ways to test new drugs and products.

• Animals are not always accurate models of human biology. For example, many drugs that are safe for animals are harmful to humans.
• Animal testing is often painful and stressful for the animals involved. They may be injected with toxic substances, exposed to radiation, or subjected to surgery without anesthesia.
• Animal testing is wasteful of resources. It takes a lot of money and time to test a new drug or product on animals, and many of these products never make it to market.

There are many alternatives to animal testing that are more humane and effective. These include in vitro testing, computer modeling, and human clinical trials. We should be using these methods instead of animal testing to develop new drugs and products that are safe and effective for humans.
