Today, DAY 3 OF THE TRIAL, the defense (City) was on stage with their witnesses. Their stormwater expert charmed the courtroom with his wit and clever replies. Our experts wondered about the veracity of some of his assertions. Then we were regaled with 4 hours of Happy Hayne’s “monologue” attempting to fluff her 2 years of experience as the Hancock, hand picked, Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, into “expert” status. She cited her time serving on various Boards as further evidence of her expertise as an expert on various topics including “green infrastructure." Happy said that she loved CPGC and she was going to be involved in every step of the process to “redesign” CPGC . Aaron pointed out that she was not included in any way, in the contract for work to redesign CPGC. Tomorrow we are going to hear from two people from the Plaintiff’s side ( our side) and two witness from the Defense ( City) then there will be closing arguments. We really need you all to show up, especially in the afternoon. Once the trial is over, around 5PM, we are going to gather at Pints Pub , a short walk from the City & County Bldg. at 221 West 13th Ave. 80204. SEE YOU THERE???
