May 19, 2017
GET SOME SUN/ HAVE FUN/ DO SOME GOOD Come tell Mayor Hancock what you think about the I-70 Expansion and related Platte-to-Park Hill Stormwater Project: Please join us at the Mayor's upcoming Cabinet in the Community meeting: Saturday, May 20th, from 9-11am. BOTANIC GARDENS 1007 YORK ST , 80206 Bring your SAVE CITY PARK GOLF COURSE signs and wear your Ditch the Ditch buttons/stickers. We need to make ourselves visible and and inform others of the issue. We especially need to get the message across that the I-70 expansion AND the drainage plans connected to it THAT THREATEN CITY PARK GOLF COURSE AND NEIGHBORHOODS ..... ARE NOT A" DONE DEAL". It appears that with these projects we are building infrastructure for a Winter Olympics bid. Shouldn't we have the discussion regarding "do we want the Olympics" before we're building the infrastructure to support it? __________________________________________________ WHERE: Denver Botanic Gardens 1007 York Street 80206 WHEN: Saturday, May 20, 2017 TIME: 9 - 11AM Entrance to the Garden is FREE/ Refreshments Hosted by City Councilman Wayne New See you Saturday at the Botanic Gardens!
