The project would • . close the course for 2 years • . bulldoze 280+ mature trees • . bulldoze the club house , built in 2001, at a cost of millions • . destroy invaluable habitat for 165 species of birds /wild life • . waste millions to build a big, new event center • . create environmental havoc during consturction • . depress property values of property around the park, • . expose homes near park to flooding • bring toxic storm water, trash & mosquitoes into CPGC ..... and more. CPGC is a designated park and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.It will not be listed after the redesign. The destruction of CPGC and many of our historic neighborhoods to benefit Highway I 70 expansion and the new development around the Wester Stock Show..... can be stopped. ALL It takes citizen involvement.
