EXPLANATION
The mission of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is to guard the health and safety of US residents.
We question if the EPA in Denver is fulfilling that mission.
In that regard, we have requested that the EPA, Region 8, in Denver, hold FORMAL ... PUBLIC HEARINGS...., with recorded, oral testimony, from Denver residents, about their concerns, questions and suggestions about Denver's plan to do a removal action (NOT clean up) by digging in the I70-/Vasquez Superfund site(http://tinyurl.com/h8nr2vf) to install an obsolete drainage system.
(See the future: https://youtu.be/gzt69QnKMFs)
We further requested that EPA to take back responsibility from Denver, for developing and executing a credible Community Involvement Plan as mandated by Congress in the CERCLA laws. https://semspub.epa.gov/work/HQ/100000070.pdf

Dear Ms. Zinner:
The EPA has a mandated obligation to protect the health and safety of residents of the United States. Pursuant to an announcement in the September 7, 2015, Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/zoa8d3f) , I respectfully request that in your capacity as the Remedial Project Manager for the I 70 / Vasquez Superfund site that you:
1. Immediately halt all work on the Platte to Park Hill Drainage project until the EPA has had time to create and execute a credible Community Involvement Plan for neighborhoods that could be affected by Denver’s plan to do a Removal Action in the I 70/Vasquez Superfund site, and
2. Pursuant to the announcement listed above, the EPA hold formal PUBLIC HEARINGS, with recorded oral testimony, to be published for public consumption after the hearing. Further that before the hearings, the EPA shall do extensive outreach to residents of potentially affected communities, also in languages accessible to non English speaking residents, advising them of the Public Hearings.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warmest regards,
(YOUR NAME)
