Great news, a bill in the Texas House, HB 549 is coming to committee! Why is this good news?
HB 549 would protect face-to-face and would forever keep the elimination of in-person visitation from being eliminated!
How would this help Denton County?
This would sure up the Texas Commission on Jail Standards regulation regarding visitation, if this bill passes Denton would have to restore in-person visits!
Does this mean video visitation will go away?
No, what this means is you would have a choice. Which is what we wanted all along right?
How can I help?
