Tell Cover Girl: Stop Animal Testing
Under their parent company Procter & Gamble, Cover Girl is one of the largest companies conducting animal testing in the United States.
Procter & Gamble states that they’ve discontinued animal testing on 80% of their products.
But what about the remaining 20%?
Cover Girl still uses the outdated Lethal Dose 50 (LD50) test in testing their cosmetics. This involves the administration of a substance (in this case, make-up) to a group of animals at increasing doses. This continues until the experimenters reach a dose that kills 50 percent of the test subjects. The substance is often administered to the animal through a tube inserted into the stomach.
There are many other make-up companies that refuse to test their products on animals, why does Cover Girl continue to perform these cruel and meaningless tests?
Sign this petition to tell Cover Girl that animal torture isn't beautiful.

I am writing to ask you to stop your testing Cover Girl products on animals.
Under their parent company Procter & Gamble, Cover Girl is one of the largest companies conducting animal testing in the United States. I am aware that P&G states that you have discontinued animal testing on 80% of your products.
This is a step in the right direction, but what about the remaining 20%?
It is unclear why you are continuing to test on animals at all, when Cover Girl has the money and resources to use other testing alternatives.
Testing on animals is unreliable, unnecessary, and cruel. Please discontinue all animal testing of Cover Girl products.
