The Issue

In a concurring opinion in “Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization”, in which the US Supreme Court ruled that Americans do not have a constitutional right to an abortion, Justice Clarence Thomas states that the court should revisit other issues that the court has previously ruled were protected by the constitution, including same- sex marriage.

Introduced by the Congressmen Jerry Nadler (D-NY) , the “Respect for Marriage Act” passed with large bipartisan support in the House of Representatives and needs 10 Republicans in the Senate to pass the law in order to bypass the filibuster.

The law would repeal a draconian law from the 90’s that defined marriage as a union between one man and one women. Stop these assaults on basic human rights!! Tell members of the US Senate to pass this law so both same sex & interracial couples can live their lives in peace without interference from the government!
