Leaders in Congress just struck a deal that could provide relief to thousands of people sentenced to unreasonably long prison terms under racially biased laws. It’s time for Congress to move forward on criminal justice reform, NOW!
Tell our leaders in DC: It’s Time for #JusticeReformNOW!

We just got back from Washington D.C., where we joined actors, advocates, Senators and formerly incarcerated leaders to call on Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to move quickly and allow the Senate to vote.
We were joined by actors like Matt McGorry of “How to Get Away with Murder” Hill Harper of “CSI:NY,” Melissa Fitzgerald of "The West Wing" and Terrence J who delivered statements and a petition on behalf of 100+ celebrities who have signed our call for #JusticeReformNOW.

Senators Richard Durbin (D-IL) and Mike Lee (R-UT) discussed the Sentencing Reform and Corrections Act and how it would help people like Alton Mills, a low-level drug courier sentenced to a mandatory minimum of life in prison. Alton was granted clemency by President Obama but thousands of people are still serving decades in prison for low-level crimes.
We need to reunite parents with their children, reclaim the genius being wasted behind prison walls and give people a real chance to contribute to society and support their families.
It’s time for Mitch McConnell take action to roll back the incarceration industry in America.
Share this petition and help us build momentum for reform.
