The idea behind the NRA boycott is to try to hit the NRA where it hurts -- in the pocketbook.
Writing today with a new way to do that -- I just created a petition on WhiteHouse.gov to ask for the IRS to audit the NRA and NRA-ILA's tax exempt statuses. Frankly, it's just crazy that an organization so clearly designed to promote the interests of specific private entities (the manufacturers of guns and ammunition), and to convince people to take action for and against specific legislation and candidates, can be tax exempt.
For more information on this topic, please read this excellent Medium article: https://medium.com/@SIIPCampaigns/did-the-nras-dana-loesch-just-admit-to-tax-fraud-cc8c6e1c86fd
If just over half of the people receiving this email sign the petition, we'll have enough signatures to force the White House to respond.
Also, you can go directly to the IRS's site and fill out this complaint form (If you can sign the White House petition and fill out one of these forms too, that would be really great!) https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f13909.pdf
If you really want to go to town, you can fill out the form three times, once for the NRA, once for the NRA-ILA, and once for the NRA Foundation.
