Our campaign has been to persuade companies to end their ties with the NRA. A company has done just that, and is now the subject of a boycott from the gun lobby and its followers. Let’s support them! Recently (we don’t know the exact date), YETI Coolers decided to end its involvement with the NRA Foundation Benefit and Auction events. We applaud them for this decision! The NRA however decided to send out an alert to its members complaining about YETI’s action, sparking a boycott. Since YETI Coolers is the only company to have abandoned the NRA during the current news cycle, it seems to be getting more than its fair share of hate online (see article linked to below). We need to support this company that has taken a brave stance. To be quite honest before this I was only dimly aware of YETI Coolers (my cooler is a Coleman) but people say they really do keep stuff cold well. In addition to both hard and soft coolers, they make insulated tumblers and coffee mugs too, all in a variety of sizes and colors. Personally I don’t believe in buying stuff that isn’t needed.
