The City of Torrance has recently hired Critter Busters to trap and kill coyotes. 

This goes against other nearby cities that have adopted coyote management plans that emphasize coexistence, like the plan recently unveiled by Los Angeles City where lethal control is implemented only if a person is bitten or attacked.

What is worse, they are closing Madrona Marsh Nature Preserve so cruel snare traps can be set around this protected wilderness area. Indiscriminate killing of coyotes in a nature preserve!

Thanks to Animal Emergency Medical Center, instead of being destroyed in Critter Buster's barbaric CO2 gas chamber, the local veterinary clinic has agreed to do the dirty deed of killing these wild souls. 

Join us in asking the City of Torrance to stop trapping coyotes immediately and to implement a coyote management plan that does not involve removal of coyotes except in extreme cases where a coyote harms a person in an unprovoked encounter.
