Petition for the Nomination of Mark Merges for County Superintendent

Mark's track record in educational leadership is exemplary. School Administrator with thirty years of service in K-12 public schools and higher education that has demonstrated leadership abilities in program development, budgeting, data analysis and staffing experience. Proven ability to provide leadership in fostering an effective and safe environment to support continued student and teacher success. Strong facilitator with interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiastic team builder, excellent public relations, and problem-solving visionary. Superb communicator, detail-oriented to effectively negotiate and resolve challenging situations with positive results. He has consistently demonstrated a commitment to:

1. Upholding Traditional Educational Standards: Mark believes in a curriculum that emphasizes core academic skills, fostering a learning environment that prepares our students for real-world challenges.
