Tell Breland to add Green Areas in Our Neighborhood (Clift Farm)

The Issue

When we purchased our homes at Clift Farm, we were told that the developer planned to include green spaces, nature trails, and recreational areas for the community. Instead, the developer continues to prioritize profits, leaving residents without the parks, trails, and gathering spaces we were promised.

The area originally labeled as “Lilian Park” on the 2021 development plans is now slated for dense housing—homes stacked side by side with no park, no trails, no playgrounds. Just concrete and rooftops. This erases the opportunity to create walking paths, parks, and safe play areas for our children—spaces that would bring neighbors together and allow our kids to grow up in a joyful, healthy environment.

That promise wasn’t a minor detail. It was a commitment—one that mattered deeply to us.

We were misled. We were lied to.

For years, we’ve waited patiently. We’ve watched homes go up all around us while our children ask, “Where’s the playground?”—and we still have no answer.

We are not just buyers. We are parents, neighbors, and families—people who believed in Breland’s vision. We don’t need more houses stacked side by side. We need Breland to keep their word.

We urge Breland to take action now—before more homes are built and the last green spaces are lost. If these promises continue to be ignored, we are prepared to take this to the next level.

What We’re Asking For: parks, playgrounds and nature walking trails.

Please sign this petition before it’s too late—before the last of our green space is gone.
